Following on from Tinpan Orange's summer single, BARCELONA, the band is proud to share their brand new song, FLOWERS, from the forthcoming new album due for release in Spring.
Fresh from a busy summer festival circuit, including winning Triple J Unearthed to play at Laneway Festival, Tinpan Orange is heading off to Canada to play at festivals, industry showcases and support The Cat Empire throughout April.
Emily says of the song, "I suppose it's about coming out of a bad mood. It's about the relief of having the darkness lift and seeing the world shining again and then feeling bad for those who were unlucky enough to pass you by while the darkness was still looming. It's an optimistic account for all the moody people out there."
Produced by Steven Schram and played with the exciting new rhythm section that brought you the thumping energy of BARCELONA, FLOWERS is another proud moment for this dizzyingly whimsical Melbourne quintet.
